Ferritin (FER) Test Cassette is intended for the qualitative determination of Ferritin in human whole blood, plasma or serum.
TEST PROCEDURE:
1. Bring the pouched test device to room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing. Do not open the pouch until ready to perform the assay.
2. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch. Lay it on a flat, clean and dry surface.
3. For Serum or Plasma specimens: Use the 10μl pipette provided to transfer 1 drop of serumor plasma (approximately 10μl) to the sample well (S) , then hold the buffer bottle vertically and add 1 drop of buffer (approximately 50μl ) to "A".Or using pipette packed in the separate poly bag, transfer 2 drops of buffer to "A".
4. For Whole Blood specimens: Use the 10μl pipette provided to transfer 2 drops of whole blood (approximately 20μl) to the sample well (S), then hold the buffer bottle vertically and add 2 drops of buffer (approximately 100μl) to "A". Or using pipette packed in the separate poly bag, transfer 4 drops of buffer to "A" .
5. Read results between 15-20 minutes. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS:2. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch. Lay it on a flat, clean and dry surface.

Or using pipette packed in the separate poly bag, transfer 4 drops of buffer to "A" .
5. Read results between 15-20 minutes. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.
When the detection concentration is lower than 5ng/ml, 5-10ng/ml, 10-20ng/ml, 20-50ng/ml and higher than 50ng/ml, the results should be comparable to the chroma of the corresponding concentration. If the result is lower than 20ng/ml, the FER protein content is low.
Invalid: If the control line (C) fails to appear, the test results are invalid regardless of the presence or absence of the test line.
