1.The glucose test meter displays results between 20~600mg/dL (1.1~33.3mmol/L ).
2.If the test result is below 20mg/dL (1.1mmol/L ), “LO”will appear on the meter display. Consult with your doctor immediately in how to treat extremely low blood glucose (hypoglycemia). If the test result is above 600mg/dL (3.3mmol/L),“HI” will appear on the meter display. This indicates extremely high blood glucose (hyperglycemia). Seek medical assistance immediately.
3.When you get any questionable readings, check the following items first and then repeat the test.
●Be sure the strips are within the expiration date.
●Make sure the drop of blood appears in the whole reaction zone.
If the results are still questionable, consult the physician.
4.Low or high blood sugar readings can indicate a potentially serious medical condition. If your blood sugar is unusually low or high, or if you do not feel the way your results indicate, repeat the test with a new test strip.
